Sales Tax

Sales tax is charged on all orders delivered in California.

Delivery

Orders are usually shipped within one week of receipt of payment and measurements but may take longer. Let us know your schedule as soon as possible in the ordering process so that we can accommodate you.

Terms

Payment by Visa, MasterCard, check, money order, or by funds wired directly to our bank. Personal checks are subject to a clearing period.

All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Returns will not be accepted unless scheduled in advance with CPT Autopilot Inc; unit must be returned in new condition in original packaging within 90 days of purchase. Sender assumes responsibility for return shipping charges and any damage in shipping.

Shipping

$40 to west coast United States, $50 to other lower continental states.

Domestic shipping via FedEx or UPS Ground service unless otherwise requested. Alaska, Hawaii, and all international locations as-per quote. See shipping estimates page.

Warranty

New units are warranted for one year against defective materials and workmanship. The customer is responsible for shipping charges to and from the factory for warranty repairs. It is the responsibility of the sender to ensure that the autopilot is packed to ensure that there is no damage in transit.

When sending a unit in for service, it is essential that both the motor and control boxes be returned in most cases. The motor and control boxes should be individually bubble wrapped, separated by cardboard and cushioning, and then boxed again in a slightly larger box with cushioning surrounding the inner box. Any parts or brackets should be packaged and cushioned in the larger box. Please note that most carriers deny damage claims for shipments cushioned with improper materials such as newsprint, t-shirts, etc.
